Primary School in Madagascar.

The Foundation for Post Conflict Development is a civil society partner in improving global development and seeks to work with organizations that place development as a priority, therefore, the FPCD is currently considering partnering with a French non-governmental organization called Association Solidarite Fratnernite Rouen Madagascar to help raises awareness about the needs of Madagascar.

The project currently under consideration will contribute to the Millennium Development Goal of providing universal primary education. It will have decisive impact on the population since it is the only school offering French to children in non-confessional schools (i.e. the poorest among the poorest), and will also offer medical facilities for their families as well as workshops open in the evening for the families (clothes making among others).

We intend to make the school both a humanitarian school enabling children to receive an intellectual as well as pragmatic education and a free-access center of handicraft teaching for the families in order to help them acquire the basic skills necessary for developing small trades.
